About EOPD Ireland
A registered Irish charity (Charity Number 20206267) founded and led by people living with Early Onset Parkinson's.
Our vision
Everybody with Early Onset Parkinson's Disease has what they need to live a fulfilling life.
Our mission
To improve the lives of people who live with Early Onset Parkinson's and support them to enhance their quality of life through information, advocacy and member support.
Advocacy and representation
We make sure the voices of people with EOPD are heard by decision-makers in healthcare, social supports, employment, research and policy.
What we do
We are a patient-led organisation supported by a dedicated team of volunteers and staff. Lived experience informs everything we do. We raise awareness, educate the public and professionals, reduce stigma and help break down the barriers faced by people with EOPD.
We provide free information, support and resources for people living with EOPD and their families, including expert-led webinars and signposting to exercise programmes. We also host social events, meetups and online opportunities to connect.
We work with partners across the health, disability, research and community sectors to advocate for meaningful improvements for the EOPD community across Ireland.
